Nov. 14th, 2020 @ 01:22 pm Going back to livejournal
So, I've decided to make a triumphant return here to post my rantings and ramblings instead of using Facebook for a variety of reasons. First and foremost, I know who can read my journal here. I maintain fairly rigid controls over my friends list here, and that is no longer the case in Facebook. I can post larger posts here, break them up with lj-cut tags, tag them, search them, and in general it's just more organized. There are other reasons, but those are the most important at the moment.

If you are interested in reading my journal, feel free to email me. I'll determine which, if any, of my filters to put you in, and you can read at your heart's content. However, there are a few ground rules to follow.

1) Do not, at any point, discuss what you read in this journal unless I am present. If I bring the conversation up, that's one thing. But you have no way of knowing who can see a specific post, or why someone can't in the event I have limited their access. Do not spread my private stuff all over the world.
2) This is my journal. I will screen comments I find to be inflammatory, I will remove posters who harass me, and most importantly, I WILL POST WHATEVER I FEEL LIKE POSTING. Previously, I was told by some of my very close personal friends and family that all I ever posted was depressing, or was ranting, or whatever. Well, guess what. I use this as a forum to get such things off my chest. If you don't like it, don't read it, but don't expect to be kept up to date on what's going on in my life. General life updates that remain short will likely be posted to Facebook also.
3) There is always the possibility of more rules. Be aware of that fact.

Current Mood: contemplativecontemplative
There was drama today. Not unusual for the group of people in question. But it has caused me to distil into language my philosophy on life. So I figured I'd write it up.

Current Mood: blahblah
Uhm, life. And stuff. I'm currently sitting in the living-room with spiderdust and iceblink. We're sifting henna for mehndi. I've forgotten how time consuming it is. I never used to have to when I was young, I was spoilt that way. And I was like 16 the last time I had to do this. Bah. Thankfully, we're all taking turns. Still, I feel bad.

It's Christmas. Happy Christmas. Happy New Year. I miss you all and love you, and the fact that I'm in my hidey hole is nothing personal. I promise.

Oct. 12th, 2007 @ 04:58 pm My life is complete...
So, it's spiderdust's birthday, and I'm here with her and family... IN THE GOOGLE OFFICES. My life is now complete. I have a google name tag. And everything.

Like, dude. Seriously. I've been a google fan boy since I was like 11. Or something like that. It seems like forever. And now, here I am. And I have a google T-shirt and everything.

Dude. Sweetness incarnate.

In other news, I still need a job. But everything else is pretty good.

Yay. And stuff.

Augh, not dead. I promise. *sigh* I'm sorry. I really am bad at this at this point in my life.

I have a place to live, I have food, I need a job... But I'll get one in the next couple of days...

And thank you, Ms. Prince(ss) for nudging me. I haven't totally forgotten about the world.

My fortune cookie, the day after con:

You will advance socially, without any special effort.

I made a couple mistakes this last weekend... now I'm just trying to figure out which ones are at the top of the list... Blah. And also... Blah. I'm blah, and rather sick of it. That is all.

All I have to say is, bitch, what part of 'He had help' leads to 'The three of us could conquer the world.' Especially when you don't include his help. I understand I'm quiet, in a corner, and easily underestimatable. That's usually the first sign that no. You couldn't.

Thank you. That is all.

May. 3rd, 2007 @ 09:22 pm uhm. excuse me?
So, I'm on the schedule today from six to eleven. Apparently they other show doesn't even let out until 11. Excuse me? I'm expected to stay past my scheduled time.... The whole POINT of a schedule is that I know what time I'm getting off or whatever. Fuck that.

I'm sleepy for the first time in two weeks. And I'm more than a little drunk right now to face the boredom mindnumbingness of work. Ahh, the immortality of being 23.

Ugh. Better things to do. Like sleep. Screw this shit.

*mutter*

Mind. Numb. Have a job. It's a decent job and pays better than blockbuster. But my mind is currently completely numb. I've been at work since 1:45 and I get to go home at 11. Jeebus christ, man, really. And no real lunch break to speak of, with which to consume the cup of noodles I have with me.

Ugh. Hungry, mind numb...and it's time for me to go back to work... Still, it pays better than blockbuster.

Tired. Sleep is for the week. Oh, and I need a new job. Really, this is just an entry because I have to share my witty pithy cryptic post sans explanation.

Person 1: Dude. Hook it up. We'll play until we get kicked out.
Person 2: Dude. This isn't fucking K-Mart.

Thank you, that is all.
